Easy Protein-packed Cinnamon Rolls
These cinnamon rolls are delicious! They are made from Kodiak Cakes Power Flapjack Mix, which is full of protein. They are perfect for dessert or a great part of nutritious breakfast.

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

  2. Prepare the filling by mixing the melted butter, sugars, and cinnamon. Set aside.

  3. Stir together all of the ingredients for the dough and knead it until it’s ready to roll.

  4. Flour a surface and your rolling pin and roll the dough into a rectangle.

  5. Spread the cinnamon filling onto the dough and roll it into a tube.

  6. Use floss or string to tie off the tube into equal pieces and lay them onto a baking dish.

  7. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.

  8. While the rolls are baking, mix together the icing.

  9. When the rolls are finished, pour the icing on top, let them cool, and enjoy!

Recipe Notes

I recommend rolling the cinnamon rolls up from the long direction so that you make many small rolls rather than a few large ones. These rolls will turn out crispy and crumbly, in a delicious way!
