Over the Fourth of July weekend, we brought some salmon to cook with our family for dinner. Because we didn’t want to turn on the oven and heat up the house, we grilled the salmon outside, and it was incredible!
I love salmon, but I don’t often cook it, so I didn’t know what to expect. I thought that fish might fall apart on the grill, but it held together quite nicely. The flavor was incredible: I never want salmon any other way.
All you need is olive oil, Kosher salt, pepper, and of course, salmon filets and a grill. The whole process was so simple, so quick, and so delicious.
Here’s the video tutorial from Weber Grills that my father-in-law used for grilling our salmon:
Isn’t that easy? Salmon cooks so well on the grill! When I first watched this, I didn’t think it made a difference whether or not we used Kosher salt, but we ended up using it, and I’m so glad we did! Kosher salt was key to this recipe and brought out a perfect flavor.
Have fun grilling! I hope you enjoy this salmon as much as I did.
