Hi, I’m Masha! Like many of you, I am a wife, a homemaker, and a mother. I have three little boys, two of which are identical twin babies. I value faith, family, and education. I absolutely love to learn new things. In college, I wanted to study everything, and I finally chose to focus on sports science and nutrition. I study many subjects, I work in the financial industry, and I teach and nurture my children. Most of all, I find joy in creating new things. This is my latest creation. When I write, I feel inspired and uplifted. I want that joy to fill my soul as I express myself in writing.
Initially, I thought I wanted to just write for myself, but I realized that many could benefit from my insights, advice, and creations. Early this year, my sweet dad passed away after a six-month long struggle with brain and lung cancer. When my dad got sick, I was an inpatient in the hospital on bed rest during my twin pregnancy. My identical twins had a condition called twin to twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS). They shared a blood supply unequally across the placenta, and if this condition were left untreated, we could have lost them both. When we found out about this, we got on a plane the next day and flew out of state to have a life-saving operation attempted. Our prayers were answered, and the operation was a success. Even though it was an absolute miracle, the surgery was not risk-free. One of those potential risks was premature rupture of membranes, and sure enough, on my first day back at home my water broke, and I was sentenced to hospital bed rest for the remainder of my pregnancy.
These experiences were extremely challenging for me and every member of my family. It feels like I have lived so much life in such a short time. I cannot possibly imagine what other trials this life has in store for me. Instead of worrying about what challenge could come next, I want to be ready for all things that come my way. So, here I am to share with you. I hope my insights on pregnancy, parenting, and family life can be helpful or inspiring to at least one of you readers. Thanks for joining me on this journey!
