I have always loved to color. It’s a great way to relieve stress and relax. I think I like to color for the same reason I like to crochet: I love doing a mindless activity that produces a beautiful result. When I was in high school, I once brought a coloring book to my physics class. At the time, it was such a childish thing to do, but coloring seriously helped me concentrate! I have always been excited to have kids to color with, and now that I do, adult coloring pages are popular — go figure. If you love to color as much as I do, I have compiled some beautiful and intricate designs that you can print for free and color.
In addition to these favorites of mine, I have a few designs of my own that I’ve created. You can check them out here. If you like them, please share!
Recommended Supplies
Adult coloring pages need some quality colors to create masterpieces. Prismacolor coloring pencils are the popular choice among artists, while Amazon’s choice is Sargent Art Colored Pencils: They are a great value! Also, don’t forget to get a great pencil sharpener.
If you want even more designs to color, these are my recommended coloring books. I personally love coloring pages from Eleri Fowler’s Joyous Blooms to Color.
These are great. I love coloring, it’s so relaxing and a great stress reliever.
